
“Jevons Liu is a National Board Certified special education and mathematics teacher at the Academy for College and Career Exploration. He founded the AP Calculus program to expand STEM access and raise expectations. Committed to equity, he holds students with IEPs to high expectations and has taught in the Maryland Correctional Institutions. He leads staff wellness and oversees academics for student-athletes. As a Grosvenor Teacher Fellow with National Geographic and Lindblad Expeditions, he brings global exploration into his classroom. He mentors new teachers, serves on the Maryland Teacher Advisory Council, co-chairs the Maryland Blueprint Pillar 5 Advisory Committee, and holds degrees from Northwestern University and Johns Hopkins University.”
